Here is my dinner party routine, and it works wonderfully.
1. Provide entertainment, but something ‘really’ special or exclusive. Some people use a ‘Pay Per View’ event. You can use a ‘high-brow’ film that is much discussed or some other rare find for your entertainment. ‘Really’ rich people might have live entertainment, like a chef or a talent.
2. During dinner time, ensure each guest gets 10 minutes focused on them. They can share, update the other guests and take questions. They get everyone’s attention for a solid 10 minutes.
3. After the dinner, allow the party time to digest and unwind from dinner before sending them away. It is like free time to do as you please, like quiet chatting, smoking and drinking coffee. Let people leave when they are ready to get home safely.
